We are looking for a dedicated professional to join Victoria's Youth Justice Precinct at Malmsbury and deliver essential stores services across the precincts, while contributing to improving the outcomes of young people's futures. About This Role The Department of Justice and Community Safety (Youth Justice) oversees the statutory supervision of young people in the Victorian criminal justice system. As part of the Youth Justice team, you will support the department’s values of serving the community, working together, acting with integrity, respecting others, and making it happen. Opportunity Ongoing, full‑time, based at Malmsbury with flexible work across other Youth Justice Custodial Precincts (Parkville & Cherry Creek) as required. VPS2 role: $60,295 – $77,430 per year plus super. Deliver stores services across sites to meet objectives, service delivery standards, timelines, budgetary outcomes, stakeholder expectations and client needs. Ensure goods are carefully received and orders are processed and delivered on time. Assist in producing clear, concise, accurate and timely financial management reports, including Oracle financial system and MYOB inventory system. Ensure purchases comply with DJCS Purchasing and Funding Guidelines and maintain quality assurance activities (stocktaking, board of survey, condemning processes). To Be Successful In This Role You Will Have Experience in financial and stock management systems for stock control and purchasing. Experience delivering administrative services, preferably in a government setting. Previous experience with Microsoft Office Suite. A current driver’s licence (required for work across locations). A valid forklift licence is desirable. You will be required to obtain and maintain a Working with Children Check (WWCC) during employment. What’s in it for you?
