Location South Lanarkshire – Cambuslang Job Overview We are looking for an experienced, reliable female carer to provide early morning support for a local client. The role involves assisting with personal care and morning routines. We would also like someone who can provide holiday cover for another carer (Monday–Friday) on an ad-hoc basis. Responsibilities Attending to all personal care needs (showering, toileting, including) Assisting with medication Preparing meals and healthy snacks Assisting them to participate in accessing the community, going shopping, going for a walk and to be involved in groups such as the Dementia Café Moving and assisting - pushing manual wheelchair Household shopping and collecting prescriptions Must take a proactive and innovative approach to support and encourage the individual to be involved in activities suited to their needs. About you We are looking for someone dependable, caring, and flexible, with relevant experience in personal care. Days and times 16 hours over Saturday and Sunday; these hours are flexible to suit the candidate.
