Transaction Services General Manager – Harrods Knightsbridge Harrods Knightsbridge, England, United Kingdom We are currently recruiting for a General Manager for our Transaction Services team to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the department responsible for all transactions that pass through our tills. Overseeing all aspects of transaction processing and related customer service functions, the General Manager for Transaction Services will optimise customer satisfaction and operational efficiency whilst maintaining a high level of compliance with company policies and statutory procedures. About the Role As the General Manager for Transaction Services, you will lead a team of experts to deliver best in class service to customers, whilst ensuring financial and regulatory compliance is of the highest standard. Ensuring strict compliance with relevant legislation and maintenance of regulatory responsibilities, the General Manager will work closely with our security and compliance teams to keep customers, brands, and Harrods safe. Developing Transaction Services to deliver outstanding results through continuous improvement, the General Manager will lead a high‑performing team aligned with commercial and customer priorities. As the point of contact for our senior retail leadership team, the General Manager for Transaction Services will work with stakeholders and their team to troubleshoot and resolve customer issues, making sure these decisions also account for business strategy. About You You’ll come from a relevant industry such as banking or financial services, with proven experience handling high-value transactions and deep knowledge of compliance areas including AML, GDPR, KYC frameworks, sanctions and PEP screening, and transaction monitoring processes. You keep up to date with innovation within your industry with a future-focused and continuous improvement mindset. You are a proven people leader, able to engage and influence all levels of stakeholder.
