OverviewWe're looking for a meticulously organised People and Talent Specialist to join our People Operations team. You'll be responsible for the accurate management and integrity of all our people data and files, ensuring it is organised and secure. You'll design and maintain efficient, user‑friendly back‑office processes that remove friction for both colleagues and managers, streamlining workflows across the employee lifecycle. By proactively anticipating needs, resolving data issues, and optimising systems, you'll ensure employment information is never a burden—allowing colleagues to focus on their work while having seamless access to the tools and information they need to succeed. You'll work closely with our Talent Advisor, making sure candidates are kept well‑informed throughout their interview process and new joiners are set up for success with a great onboarding experience. You'll be a key part of our small and creative team, taking the opportunity to contribute to wider team initiatives and projects. With a mission to help clients enhance visibility, increase productivity and reduce risk, we take pride in being the go‑to partner for businesses navigating the complexities of regulatory landscapes & facilities management.ResponsibilitiesManagement of our People systems (including HRIS, expenses and Learning & Development)Management of People files ensuring our data is always compliant, accurate and up‑to‑datePreparation, distribution and organisation of all employee documents including employment contracts, contract amendments and personal informationAssist with the recruitment process by posting job openings, scheduling interviews, and conducting reference checks; for some of our more junior roles, you'll assist with conducting phone screening callsCoordinate our onboarding and induction process to ensure future employees have everything they need to effectively start their new roleAssist with employee relations matters, including notetaking during formal meetings, and investigation preparationAdministration and organisation of our benefits packageAssist with the co‑ordination of employee training and development initiatives, including scheduling training sessions, tracking attendance, and evaluating training effectivenessArranging gifts for special work occasions such as work anniversaries and new baby giftsCo‑ordinating social events including travel and accommodation for our annual conferenceCo‑ordinate and conduct feedback sessions with our employees including check‑ins with our new joiners and exit interviewsBecoming an expert in our core values to help us hire to them and therefore uphold and enhance our cultureQualificationsExperience with the fundamentals of HR and the employee lifecycle; you may have your CIPD Level 3 or prior experience of working in a HR or People TeamTo be tech‑savvy – you have prior experience working with a HRISTo be super‑organised – you can identify what is urgent and important, managing your time wellA keen eye for detail – you understand the importance of producing and maintaining accurate documentationTo be creative – you're comfortable making suggestions and recommendations on how we can operate more efficientlyTo be action‑oriented – you thrive in an environment where there's always plenty to do, we're a small team with nearly 350 employees, and as this is a remote role, you'll need to be comfortable working independently and staying motivatedA good working knowledge of the Microsoft suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Benefits & CompensationSalary: £28,000 – £30,000 per annumLocation: Remote with occasional travel to our Bromsgrove and St Ives (Cambridgeshire) officesWorking Pattern: 37.5 hours per week from 9am – 5:30pm across Monday to FridayAnnual Leave: 25 days holiday in addition to usual bank holidaysWellbeing – Health cash plan, company sick pay scheme, gym discounts, cycle to work scheme, mental health first aiders and an enhanced employee assistance programmeFinancial – Salary sacrifice pension scheme and exclusive shopping discounts through MyVantify our benefits platformFamily – We enhance statutory entitlements for family leave policies, you'll be covered by our group life insurance for 3 × your annual salary and we offer a one‑off 2 week period of paid leave for a life event when you complete 5 years of serviceCommunity – Volunteer days, regular opportunities to support our charity partner – Mind, and religious holiday swapsSocial – We host an annual conference to get the whole business together as well as our team of Social Champions who arrange regular events for inside and outside of workDevelopment – We'll cover the cost of a professional membership fee, support your personal and professional development and provide you with access to our online learning library #J-18808-Ljbffr
