OverviewCrookhey Hall School is seeking a caring, resilient, and dedicated 1:1 Learning Support Assistant to provide personalised, consistent support to an individual pupil with specific educational and behavioural needs. This is a vital role for someone who is passionate about making a real difference in a young person\'s life. You\'ll work closely with the class teacher, SENCo, and therapy team to deliver tailored strategies in line with the pupil\'s individual education plan (IEP).ResponsibilitiesProvide full-time 1:1 support for an individual pupilImplement and adapt the pupil\'s educational and behavioural programmesMonitor and record progress in learning, engagement, and behaviourSupport emotional regulation and promote resilienceLiaise with teachers, SENCo, and therapists for consistency of supportSupervise during unstructured times (breaks, lunch, transitions)Despatch of pupils off-site where required (as directed by supervising staff)QualificationsGCSEs in English and Maths (Grade C/4+)Strong communication and teamwork skillsPatience, resilience, and initiativeFull UK driving licenceAbility to build trusting relationships and maintain high expectationsBasic IT literacy and willingness to learnDesirable (but not essential)Experience in education, care, or SEN settingsRelevant qualifications (e.g., Childcare, Education, Social Care)Experience with Autism or SEMH needsWelcome and About the EmployerWelcome to Crookhey Hall School.
