This position is the role of a seasoned project management professional. They will manage projects that have substantial R&D value, are moderate to complex in nature, and are managed with limited supervision. This position requires a thorough understanding in program and project management tools & processes. Ability to facilitate programs, leads chartering sessions, develops/validates network diagrams and lead integration & compression sessions. Work assignments may be specialized in nature but may also be broad based with coordination between other staff personnel to complete a larger, more complex program. Role Definition Assists Program Manager with the management of more complex projects within a corporate program. Responsibilities Tracking progress according to program schedules and goals; developing solutions to program problems. Participating in the preparations of proposals, plans, and program specifications. Developing the project scope documents, project timetables and other documents that would be provided to Project Managers. Monitoring the scheduling, budget, and performance of company programs. Degree Requirement Degree or equivalent experience desired Top Candidates will also have: PMP Certification Multi-business unit experience Exceptional leadership and networking skills Self-starter with strong technical and analytical skills Skill Descriptors Planning: Tactical, Strategic: Knowledge of effective planning techniques and ability to contribute to operational (short term), tactical (1-2 years) and strategic (3-5 years) planning in support of the overall business plan. Process Management: Knowledge of business process improvement tools and techniques; ability to understand, monitor, update, control, or enhance existing business or work processes. Collaborating: Knowledge of collaborative techniques; ability to work with a variety of individuals and groups in a constructive and collaborative manner. Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors. Problem Solving: Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations. Project Management: Knowledge of effective project management strategies and tactics; ability to plan, organize, monitor, and control projects, ensuring efficient utilization of technical and administrative resources to achieve project objectives. Data Gathering and Reporting: Knowledge of tools, techniques and processes for gathering and reporting data; ability to practice them in a particular department or division of a company. Summary Pay Range: $95,640.00 - $143,520.00 Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job‑related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience.
