Job Title: Business Support Partner. Location: Sandwich, UK (hybrid, 2.5 days on site) Contract: 12 months Hours: 37 hours per week Pay: PAYE up to £14.03 p/h We are seeking an enthusiastic Business Support Partner to join a leading global pharmaceutical organisation working within their Small Molecule Portfolio & Strategy, Pharmaceutical Sciences Small Molecule (PSSM) department. What you Will Achieve Your creativity and positive energy, and your strong communication and collaboration skills will enable the PSSM colleagues and culture at Sandwich to flourish and deliver value and impact effectively and efficiently. You will independently provide administrative & business support not only locally to the Sandwich PSSM team, but also globally to the Small Molecule Portfolio Strategy group. To achieve your goals, you will identify and implement processes, best practices and standards that will enable your customer groups to thrive through the execution of their respective line strategies. You are proactive in sharing knowledge and expertise with others as well as leverage best practices from others. You are seen as someone who promotes a positive collaborative culture, acts with urgency and decisiveness and creates strong local and global connections, continuously championing the company Values and fully aligning with and supporting the PSSM Vision for 2030. Responsibilities - How You Will Achieve It. Tasks may include (but are not limited to) the following: Provide administrative support activities to senior leaders in Sandwich, including managing global calendars, managing complex travel arrangements, meeting planning onsite / offsite inc. with senior leaders visiting the site. Provide advisory administrative support to PSSM community at Sandwich. Manage allocated budget effectively. Drive administration efficiency and process improvements. Be a change agent and lead non-portfolio initiatives (e.g. adoption of AI practices). Drive culture and people initiatives locally and globally with PSSM. Manage PSSM Sandwich communications, including local town halls, SharePoint and Teams sites. Lead the content creation and issuing of the global SMPS Newsletter. Be integral to the success of the PSSM organisation and understand their goals and objectives; ensuring confidentiality is maintained when required in relation to specific projects. Essential Skills and Experience - Must Have Consistent demonstration of company Values and Actionable Attitudes. A proven track record of relevant administrative duties to meet the responsibilities outlined above with a strong sense of urgency. Independently uses own judgement to plan and prioritise, with highly efficient time managements skills. Knowledge and understanding of Microsoft/SharePoint applications. Project management skills. Assertive and resilient, being confident in evaluating available and sometimes insufficient information and making decisions. Highly approachable with the ability to work independently, effectively and efficiently, as part of local and global teams. Solution orientated looking for ways to identify opportunities, add value and drive improvements. Strong interpersonal skills required to develop effective relationships at all levels across the business, internally and externally. Desired Skills and Experience - Nice-to-Have Previous experience within Pharma would be very valuable. Experience of working in a business support role in a global environment. Leverages own creativity & initiative to connect ideas & colleagues, add Joy to PSSM events and highlight PSSM achievements to site events and/or communications. Competence with computer systems, including ARIBA, SharePoint, Travel and Expenses Teams.
