The Award helps to inspire millions of young people. And it's not limited by the boundaries of one programme or place. There are more than 1 million young people currently completing their own unique programme, via hundreds of thousands of youth-focused partners and operators, including schools, youth organisations, examination boards and youth offender institutions.

The Finance Business Partner will be responsible for preparing monthly management accounts and providing support to budget holders. A key part of the role will include supporting the fundraising team by providing financial analysis, risk profiling and prospect tracking so excellent soft skills will be an essential.
- Partner with budget holders, meeting on a monthly basis, to discuss budgets, forecasts, highlighting variances and offering up corrective solutions.
- Lead on monthly financial reporting, producing balance sheets, reporting on income, expenditure and cash flow.
- Working closely with the fundraising team helping them to achieve streamline payment processes.
- Perform a regular finance review liaising with key stakeholder groups.
- Contribute to annual planning, budgeting and forecasting.
- Processing staff credit card returns.
- Support the Financial Controller with year end and the preparation of the yearly budget.
- Prepare quarterly Gift Aid returns.

**The Successful Applicant**

This is an excellent opportunity for an up and coming finance professional who is looking for a diverse range of responsibilities within a credible and ethical organisation. It would be ideal for a finalist or newly qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA, ICAEW) with strong management accounting experience and excellent soft skills. You will regularly engage with different business units so it is essential that you are able to work with others in the charity, listening to their needs and educating them in the financial aspects. There will be a strong focus on team work, ambition to take ownership of the role and willingness to add value to the team long term.
