The Private Client Tax Assistant Manager will play a crucial role in the Tax department, providing expert advice and managing a diverse portfolio of clients within the professional services industry. The successful candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a comprehensive understanding of tax legislation, and a commitment to providing top-notch client service.Client DetailsOur client is a top 10 accountancy practice and a leading player in their sector. With a strong commitment to excellence, they provide a wide range of services to a diverse portfolio of clients, including some of the most prominent names in business, both nationally and internationally.DescriptionProvide expert tax advice to a portfolio of private clients (HNWI/high profile clients)Manage client relationships, ensuring high levels of service are maintainedStay updated with changes in tax legislation, communicating these to clients where necessaryCollaborate with other members of the tax team on complex tax mattersPrepare tax returns and other necessary documentationAssist in the development of junior team membersContribute to the growth of the tax department through business development activitiesEnsure all work complies with internal procedures and professional standardsA split of 50% compliance & 50% advisoryProfileA successful Private Client Tax Assistant Manager should have:A professional tax or accounting qualification (CTA or ACA)Proven experience in a tax-focused role within professional servicesA comprehensive understanding of UK tax legislationExcellent communication and client management skillsA commitment to continuing professional developmentThe ability to work effectively in a team and independentlyJob OfferAn estimated salary range of £48,000 to £57,500 per annumThe opportunity to work with a diverse portfolio of clientsA supportive, collaborative, and high-performing work environmentThe chance to develop your career within a leading professional services firmThe opportunity to work in the vibrant city of GuildfordHybrid working (2 days per week from home)We encourage all eligible candidates who are eager to grow their career and make a significant impact in the professional services industry to apply.
