Here's your chance️ About the roleWe are looking for super-talented full-stack engineers to help us build both the front-end and back-end of our products extremely fast. You’ll be joining the most lean, talent-dense, and fast-moving engineering team in London.You’ll Be Responsible ForBuilding the foundations of Solve Intelligence. You’ll be building the core, scalable foundations of our backend for a huge market - from the ground up. This isn’t a task to be taken lightly, and we’re excited to partner with people who are eager to dive headfirst into this opportunity.Developing our user interface. Building state-of-the-art AI systems is one thing. But without a clean, intuitive, human-centric user interface, it won’t be adopted. You’ll be helping us plan, build, and iterate on our front-end UX.Planning the product roadmap based on customer feedback. Everything we do at Solve Intelligence is based on customer feedback. You’ll need to help us extract insights from customer meetings to determine what we need to build to find product-market fit as quickly as possible.Assembling a world-class engineering team. You’ll partner with our founding team to build, scale, and set the culture of our engineering team.About Solve IntelligenceWe’re the fastest growing startup building AI products to transform how IP professionals work. Who you’ll work withSanj (Chief Research Officer and co-founder): Sanj did his MSci in Physics at the University of Cambridge and his PhD in AI at the Gatsby Unit, UCL. He won awards at top AI conferences, worked on the R&D team at Huawei, and received widespread attention for his contributions to open-source LLM GitHub projects. He joined Magic Carpet AI as employee #4, where he developed AI strategies for trading which deployed millions of capital before being acquired by Blockchain.com.Chris (Chief Executive Officer and co-founder): Chris did his undergrad at Imperial College, masters at the University of Cambridge, and PhD at UCL, during which he published 10+ publications and won awards in top AI conferences and journals. He has worked in leading tech organisations, including Dyson, The Alan Turing Institute, and InstaDeep before its acquisition by BioNTech.Angus (Chief Technology Officer and co-founder): Angus did an MEng in Computer Science at the University of Bristol where he won a cyber security scholarship at GCHQ before working at Qualcomm. He then joined a London-based hedge fund, Coremont (Brevan Howard). There, he led a small team to build a greenfield trade processing platform which scaled to millions of trades per day.You’ll also work with the rest of our super talented team of AI researchers, software engineers, patent attorneys, and go-to-market experts.️ What you bringAs our founding full-stack engineer, you will have extensive experience building software to solve impressively difficult problems through past projects, designs, or GitHub contributions.Must HavesExpert in Python.Experience with databases (Postgres).Familiarity with front-end and back-end development and full-stack frameworks.Preferred HavesExperience with Web Development (Typescript/React).Experience building and scaling commercial software.Nice To HavesExperience working with WYSIWYG HTML document editor APIs (e.g. TinyMCE, CKEditor 5).Experience with AWS DevOps tooling.IT security awareness.Experience with AI.
