As a Residential Services Manager, you will play a crucial part in supporting children and young people with complex needs, providing a nurturing environment that aids their recovery and prepares them for the next steps in their lives. Responsibilities Build trust and develop nurturing relationships to promote the service user's independence, wellbeing, strengths, and capabilities. Work in partnership and build relationships with parents/carers and other professionals. Lead shifts and conduct staff supervisions. Support the Registered Manager with audits and other duties as required. Contribute to the upkeep of the home, including cooking and cleaning. Document information accurately and ensure records are kept up to date. Desirable Experience Hold a Level 3 qualification relevant to Residential Childcare. Be willing to work towards the Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care and Children & Young People's services. Have at least 1 year of supervisory and shift leader experience in a Children's Residential setting. Possess knowledge and experience of working with OFSTED Regulations and Quality Standards of Children's homes, with the ability to support the manager to achieve an outstanding rating. Have knowledge and experience of recording and reporting to enable safeguarding and protection of children and young people. Demonstrate a commitment to promoting, monitoring, and maintaining a safe environment at all times.
