**Casual, £16.81 per hour plus holiday pay**
**Trials w/c 10th and 17th October**:
- 8 hours between the 2 weeks
**Nov-March (excluding 17th Dec to 9th Jan)**:
- 4 hours per week training
- Finding preseason fixtures
- Doing independent development plans for all players (IDP)
**April (10th - 24th)**:
- Preseason training
- Expected to be available every weekday
- Organising a team bonding activity day
**May and June**:
- 2 hours training per week
- Every Wednesday for matches all day
Job purpose:
- Ensure the long-term development plans of players and to enable effective reviews of the players and program
**Key tasks**:
- Leadership and management of a coaching programme for 1s
- Manage an effective coaching programme for the 1s, including development of appropriate annual training programmes, covering pre-season and competitive season programmes.
- Ensure competitive success
- Provide pastoral support and care to squad members in conjunction with other coaching, academic and performance sport staff
**General requirements**:
- To promote adherence to ethical guidelines and regulations with regard to drugs and doping in sport, in line with UK Anti-Doping (UKAD) guidelines and Loughborough University ‘Clean Sport’ commitment
- Actively work to promote Loughborough University sport
- Undertake additional duties if required by the team

**Special conditions**:
- It will be necessary, on occasions, to work outside normal working hours including some work in the evenings, weekends and on Bank Holidays and University Closure Days.

- Essential criteria area- Criteria- Experience- Show demonstrable experience in working with a highly skilled management team and playing group to set out short, medium and long-term plans
- Experience in leading players and staff to develop an environment that drives performance through a sustainable, person-focused culture
- Experience working within a cricket performance environment- Skills and abilities- Knowledge of best practice principles underpinning talent development environments
- Effective planning and organisational skills required to deliver a programme of activity
- Demonstrate a thirst for continuous personal development ensuring the programme remains at the cutting edge of performance
- High standards of personal and professional integrity
- High levels of energy and enthusiasm
- Honesty and openness- Qualifications- Hold, as a minimum, an ECB Level 2 qualification- Other- Adherence to the Loughborough University ‘Clean Sport’ Commitment Statement.
- Flexibility and willingness to work irregular hours as necessary.
