As a Project Management Apprentice, you’ll develop a broad and adaptable skillset, mastering stakeholder engagement, governance, financial control, and risk management. Throughout the programme, you will use recognised quality management frameworks and project methodologies to bring ideas to life, all while earning your BSc (Hons) Degree in Project Management. Your Development At Amazon, it’s in our nature to learn and be curious. You will learn by doing, applying new knowledge every day while supported by expert mentors and experienced project professionals. This 42-month programme, starting in September 2026, combines on‑the‑job learning with structured study time, allowing you to work towards your BSc (Hons) Degree in Project Management. You will spend 80% of your time working in your business area and 20% on dedicated learning, which may include travel to a training centre depending on your provider’s location. You could find yourself supporting people programmes, driving innovation in tech, optimising processes in operations, or contributing to projects in our entertainment businesses. While we aim to match placements to your skills and interests, team allocation is driven by business need, so flexibility and curiosity are key. Wherever you’re based, you will play an active role in delivering projects that improve processes, enhance customer experience, and drive meaningful results. You will collaborate with a diverse network of colleagues, mentors, and leaders who will support your professional growth and help you build a strong foundation for a successful career in project management. Please note: Apprentices at Amazon may be assigned to projects across different business areas, which can include work involving sales of products such as alcohol or pork. Basic Qualifications Be 18 years or over before the start date (September 2026) Have the right to live and work in England (if you are on a visa, this must enable you to legally work and reside in England for the entire duration of the programme until September 2030) Have lived in the UK or EEA for the last 3 years Be a resident of the UK for the entire duration of the programme Not be registered on another government-funded course ending August 2026 or later Hold at least 5 GCSEs at grade 4 (C) or above, including Maths and English Have 3 A Levels or equivalent qualifications at grade C or above Provide a Statement of Comparability if you have received educational qualifications outside of the UK (required through UK ENIC: https://www.enic.org.uk/) Previous qualifications will be reviewed for funding eligibility and offers are subject to funding approval Hold no qualification in a similar subject at the same or higher level than this apprenticeship This apprenticeship assumes the candidate has little or no knowledge/experience of the occupation Preferred Qualifications Curiosity and eagerness to learn - a natural interest in how projects are planned, executed, and delivered Strong communication skills - able to express ideas clearly and collaborate with diverse teams Organisation and time management - comfortable prioritising tasks and managing deadlines Analytical thinking - enjoys problem‑solving and using data to make informed decisions Attention to detail - able to spot issues early and follow processes accurately Adaptability - comfortable working in a fast‑paced, changing environment Team player - enjoys supporting others and achieving shared goals Proactive mindset - willing to take initiative and look for opportunities to improve processes Resilience - able to stay positive and solution-focused when faced with challenges Tech awareness - confidence using digital tools (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Teams, or project tracking software) Amazon is an equal opportunities employer.
