NLB Solutions are working with a well–established local business to search for a new individual to join as a Senior Purchase Ledger Clerk. The Senior Purchase Ledger Clerk will report directly into the Purchase Ledger Manager. The business will be looking for this person to help develop and motivate the team when the Manager is on leave and so need someone that is driven to take the next step in their career. The business need an experienced Purchase Ledger specialist that is used to working in a busy environment and someone with drive.The team are in the office 5 days a week and work 9 to 5 days with ample parking in this fully refurbished office. With a number of excellent senior manager in the business, they will offer the new starter a chance to learn about the culture that permeates across the business.DutiesPro–active management of portfolio of supplier accountsEntry, verification, and payment of supplier invoicesTelephone and email correspondence with managers and suppliersAnswering supplier callsNegotiating credits where needed, challenging incorrect invoices, and raising queriesResolving queries with suppliers, department managers and other internal contactsResolving accounts on stopReconciliation of supplier accounts to supplier statementsPreparation of payments within deadlines for weekly/monthly BACS runCover for purchase ledger manager when on holiday ensuring the team perform all tasks within deadlinesAssist in open and unconfirmed purchase ordersWorking together as a team, helping where necessaryAssist in month end process and year endPerson SpecTeam PlayerA great communicatorDrive, organised and focused individualExceptional organisational skillsMeet strict deadlinesAttention to detailKnowledge of MS Office programs – excel, word, outlookAt least 3 year Purchase ledger experience #J-18808-Ljbffr
