We are looking for a proactive team-player to be a pivotal person within the finance team, making a huge impact on their digital transformation and drive success. Key Responsibilities: Manage and maintain precise financial records, keeping books spotless and up-to-date. Process invoices swiftly and accurately, ensuring timely payments to trusted suppliers. Foster strong relationships with vendors, building trust and collaboration. Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and company policies. Handle supplier invoicing from entry to verification and payment, challenging discrepancies and raising queries when needed. Communicate proactively via phone and email with managers and suppliers to resolve issues quickly. Negotiate credits and resolve invoice disputes confidently. Collaborate with department managers to resolve queries and streamline processes. Prepare payments efficiently for weekly and monthly BACS runs. Support month-end and year-end processes to ensure smooth financial reporting. Step up as a deputy for the Finance Manager during their absence, demonstrating leadership and initiative. Exceptional organisational skills to juggle tasks, prioritise deadlines, and keep financial records impeccable. Embody core company values. What You Need to Succeed: A minimum of 3 years of experience in Purchase Ledger or similar finance roles Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data management and reporting.
