Role: Communities Project Officer REF 1653332Contract Length: 3 monthsLocation: RugbyIR35: InsidePay Rate to Intermediary: £24.78 per hour Spinwell is recruiting for a Communities Project Officer for an excellent opportunity within the public sector. Responsibilities of the Communities Project Officer Following the successful delivery and letting of 51 new homes in Phase 1, the Navigation Way development is now moving into Phase 2, which will complete the rollout of the remaining new properties and continue the expansion of the Council’s social housing stock. The Phase 2 Project Officer will lead the coordination, delivery, and operational readiness of the remaining homes, ensuring the project continues to meet high standards of tenant experience, service integration, and stock growth efficiency. The post holder will work across multiple teams—Housing Services, Allocations, Repairs, Assets, Communities & Projects, and Communications—as well as external partners and contractors. Their role is to ensure that properties, systems, contracts, communications, and tenant support arrangements are fully prepared ahead of each release of homes. Skills/Experience for Communities Project Officer Strong project coordination and organisational skills. Ability to work confidently across multiple teams and disciplines. Experience in housing, income collection, allocations, tenancy management and support or related fields. Excellent communication, data handling and problem‑solving abilities. Commitment to high‑quality tenant experience and service improvement.
