Our client is looking for an experienced Communities Project Officer5 days on site in the Town Hall. We are looking for a project officer to lead on a new complex Navigation Way as we move onto phase 2 letting 49 new properties. The project officer will lead on sign ups, tenancy support for new residents, ensuring rent payments are in place and settling in new tenants to this new development. project officer will work across multiple teams ensuring the successful let of 49 properties and assist in building a new community. Following the successful delivery and letting of 51 new homes in Phase 1, the Navigation Way development is now moving into Phase 2, which will complete the rollout of the remaining new properties and continue the expansion of the Council’s social housing stock. The Phase 2 Project Officer will lead the coordination, delivery, and operational readiness of the remaining homes, ensuring the project continues to meet high standards of tenant experience, service integration, and stock growth efficiency. The post holder will work across multiple teams—Housing Services, Allocations, Repairs, Assets, Communities & Projects, and Communications—as well as external partners and contractors. Their role is to ensure that properties, systems, contracts, communications, and tenant support arrangements are fully prepared ahead of each release of homes.
