Join to apply for the Commercial Gas engineer role at Strutmasters.com Commercial Gas Engineer £41,500 + Door to Door (1 in 4 call out) Birmingham Winner Recruitment are currently working with an outstanding family run service provider who are looking to grow their Mechanical team. They are looking for commercial gas engineers to perform a mixture of planned and reactive maintenance across commercial & retail sites throughout the UK. Perform a mixture of PPM & reactive maintenance across commercial gas appliances such as commercial boilers, pipework, valves, & ventilation. Perform maintenance across plumbing such as replacing taps & repairing leaks. Conduct regular inspections to ensure the safe operation of gas systems. Diagnose faults in gas appliances and carry out necessary repairs. Assemble components as needed for various projects. Understand, complete all work‑related documentation accurately on time and exceed customers' expectations. Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete installations efficiently. Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used. Always adhere to health and safety regulations. Relevant qualifications such as COCN1, MET1, CCN1, CEN1, CKR1, HTR1, CDGA1, CIGA1, CODNCO1, CORT1, UVHW. Commercial catering tickets beneficial. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely. Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and fault find issues effectively. Experience working in occupied premises. Clear communication both oral and written. Customer-focused approach.
