We have a large garden, lovely in spring and summer months to sit out and have lunch, and we are a two‑minute walk away from the train station. You will be joining a small and friendly team of six vets, six nurses, plus SVNs. We have one vet with a medicine certificate, one vet with a GP small animal medicine certificate, and one vet with a GP small animal surgery certificate. A visiting peripatetic surgeon also covers more complex orthopaedic and soft‑tissue surgery. Quality‑improvement projects are ongoing and encouraged. Our excellent practice facilities include digital X‑ray, new ultrasound, theatre, dental area, laser, endoscope, acupuncture, and separate dog/cat kennels. We also have our own dog kennels for staff during the day. You will work 40 hours per week over either four or five days. Experienced vets will be available to assist with surgery and work‑ups on site, and you will have support on late nights and weekends. There is no sole charge initially; when you are, an experienced vet is on call to come in.
