The Package 55k - 60k basic Bonus Travel Allowance Hybrid – 1-2 days in Shadwell HQ and 3-4 days from home 35 days holiday per year (including bank holidays) Flexible hours The Role of the Bid Manager As our Bid Manager, you'll be the engine behind our success in securing new contracts and retaining key clients. You'll lead and manage the full end-to-end bid lifecycle, from initial expression of interest through to final submission and post-bid debrief. The Bid Manager will be the voice of our solution, a storyteller with a commercial edge, shaping compelling proposals that win. You’ll work closely with internal teams; including operations, commercial, and subject matter experts, to develop high-quality, tailored responses that reflect our offering, values, and capabilities. In addition to live bids, the Bid Manager will also be responsible for maintaining and improving our bid content library, ensuring we have strong case studies, evidence, and reusable content ready to deploy. The Duties End-to-End Bid Management: Take ownership of the full bid cycle; RFI, ITT & BAFO ensuring high-quality, timely, and compliant submissions. Solution Development: Create tailored written content for service delivery models and innovative soft service solutions (cleaning and associated services) that align with client needs. Content Creation & Writing: Write and edit persuasive, customer-focused content that tells a clear story, with sharp win themes, USPs, and value propositions. Bid Strategy & Win Themes: Collaborate with Business Development and Operational teams to define written strategy, win themes, and competitor differentiation. Stakeholder Management: Engage with subject matter experts, operational leads, commercial teams, and senior stakeholders to gather inputs and validate written solutions. Quality Assurance: Review and challenge technical content, case studies, and visuals for accuracy, consistency, and impact. Bid Governance: Ensure compliance with internal bid governance, including sign‑off protocols, qualification processes, and risk assessments. Post-Bid Activity: Lead debriefs, feedback reviews, and lessons learned sessions to continuously improve our bid processes and win rates. Ensure bid materials are up to date, compliant, and tailored to sector/client needs. Create and maintain a library of core bid content, including: Stock answers and templates Case studies, evidence of performance, and reference materials Organisational charts, mobilisation plans, and approach diagrams The Person Proven track record of managing end-to-end bids within Facilities Management, particularly in soft services. Exceptional solution writing and proposal development skills - you're a natural storyteller who can turn standard specifications into engaging narratives. Strong grasp of win strategy development, value proposition design, and bid scoring methodologies. Advanced stakeholder engagement and collaborative leadership across matrix teams. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail. Ability to thrive under pressure, juggle multiple deadlines, and deliver quality work on time. High-level proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Word, PowerPoint) and experience with bid platforms (e.g., InDesign, etc. a plus). Familiarity with sustainability, social value, and net‑zero requirements in modern FM bids. #J-18808-Ljbffr
