Deputy Customer Experience Manager

We're looking for a customer‑service superstar to support our Customer Experience Manager and lead a team of Customer Experience Coordinators in creating a positive, welcoming, friendly, and efficient environment for customers and their pets. Ideally, you already have some experience in the service or hospitality industry. Deliver a brilliant first impression. Our Customer Experience team is often our customers’ first point of contact – the first faces they see at reception and the voice on the phone. They are in a prime position to leave a lasting, fabulous impression. Be the best at what you do. To truly excel, you’ll receive excellent training and access to CPD for veterinary reception teams through the BVRA (British Veterinary Receptionist Association). Deliver an experience our customers can’t wait to share. You’ll confidently greet customers at our deskless reception, guide them to dog and cat seating areas, offer refreshments, and manage check‑in/out on a tablet. You’ll also upsell products such as the benefits of our Pet Health Plan, setting the tone for the 5‑star customer service we aspire to deliver consistently. A social superstar Beyond great service, we seek someone proactive with ideas to increase footfall. You’ll post regularly to local social‑media accounts, share diverse local content (engaging, informative, funny) that resonates with pet owners, and motivate colleagues to create and share content. Experience editing short‑form video (reels, trending audio) is a plus.
