This role ensures operational continuity, resolves system issues, supports global stakeholders and their ability to use Finance Systems, and contributes to process improvements and training initiatives.Key ResponsibilitiesResolve Unit4 workflow issues and manage escalations.Address and resolve global invoice approval related issues.Troubleshoot CODAXL and user issues.Provide support for Global User finance system queries.Communication and AlertsAct as point of contact for Unit4 workflow-related queries at 3rd line level.Raise and manage P1 tickets with Unit4 support.Participate in MIR and CAR calls as needed.Serve as the escalation point for WNS and other stakeholders.Communicate system issues and resolutions to users, IT, and Finance teams.Liaise with WNS, UK FinOps, HIBL Finance, IT, Cashiers, and SharePoint bot teams.Training and ReportingDeliver training and guidance on finance workflows and systems.Develop and maintain reports, selectors, presenters, and master data.Operational ActivitiesCreate and manage finance system capabilities.Schedule and execute maintenance runs.Support year-end processes and re-dos.Manage invoice deletions and system configurations (e.g., company creation, pay masters, exchange rates, asset queries, supplier workflows).Kanbina (BAU)Conduct user access and manager view reviews.Manage matrix and group assignments.Provide ERICCA 2 / SOx Compliance support.Review invoice issues and update documentation.Deliver Kanbina training sessions.Support implementation activity where requiredChrome River (BAU)Provide backup support for Chrome River operations.Manage and respond to P1 outages.Qualifications and ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field desirable.2+ years of experience in Finance operations or systems support.Experience with Unit4 essential, Kanbina and Chrome River desirable.Strong understanding of finance workflows and global finance operations.Proven ability to manage escalations and communicate with cross-functional teams.Skills and CompetenciesExcellent problem-solving and analytical skills.Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.Proficiency in reporting tools and data analysis.Detail-oriented with a focus on process improvement.DesirableExperience working in a global or shared services environment.Familiarity with ticketing systems and incident management protocols.Knowledge of finance compliance and audit requirements.What do we offer in return?Our successes have all come from someone brave enough to try something newWe support each other in the small everyday moments and the bigger challengesWe are determined to make a positive difference at work and beyondReasonable adjustmentsWe're committed to providing reasonable accommodations at Howden to ensure that our positions align well with your needs.
