Workplace description:

Set in a fabulous location with beautiful private gardens and magnificent views, the atmosphere of the hotel is warm, friendly and welcoming with thoughtful service to make you feel truly at home.

Main duties and responsibilities:
  1. Assist and support the head chef in food preparation.
  2. Prepare the starters as well as the vegetables.
  3. Coordinate banqueting events alongside the banquet manager.
  4. Provide support to the restaurant's sales and marketing team.
  5. Be involved in the training of lower cadre staff.
  6. Help with menu planning.
  7. Oversee breakfast preparation and service.
  8. Meal preparation.
  9. Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation in the restaurant.
  10. Enforce safety, health, and hygiene standards in the kitchen.
  11. Troubleshoot any problems that may arise in the kitchen.
  12. Ensure that food goes to the customers in a timely manner.
  13. Manage and supervise the commis chefs that work under them.
Essential criteria:

Previous experience of working as a Chef de Partie in at least 1 Rosette standard establishment.
