Retail Stock Assistant – Stockport Retail & Asset Solutions is hiring Retail Stock Assistant positions with an immediate start. Salary: £13.73 inclusive of holiday pay (equivalent to £12.25 per hour + £1.48 holiday pay). Responsibilities Count inventory quickly and accurately using handheld scanners. Retrieve and store stock as required, sometimes reaching high stock areas. Maintain accurate counts and report any discrepancies. Work 3–4 shifts per week, each 8–12 hours; often unsociable hours including early mornings and nights. Stand for prolonged periods during shifts. Requirements Must be 18 years or older. Willingness to work unsociable hours and long shifts. Positive “can do” attitude and quick learning ability. Experience handling stock is an advantage but not required. Good physical stamina to stand and use a handheld scanner. Benefits Free transport where provided. Immediate start. Generous holiday pay. Pension contribution.
