By guiding parishes through the funding process and strengthening their confidence in grant applications, youll help bring projects to life that uplift communities, create welcoming spaces and support those facing hardship.Well enable your experience to grow, providing plenty of support and assistance and enabling your activity and development, making this a superb role for now and the future.So, if youre passionate about supporting parishes to grow, thrive and serve their communities, apply today and help make a difference.The RoleAs a Parish Grants Officer, you will lead and manage the National Lottery Awards for All grant programme across the Diocese.Guiding parishes through the full application process, you will help them secure up to £20,000 for projects that strengthen community life.Ensuring parishes are fully supported from first enquiry to successful submission, you will empower them to deliver initiatives that bring people together, improve community spaces, and support those most affected by the cost-of-living crisis.Youll work closely with parishes, priests, and key stakeholders, providing support with bid writing, promoting funding opportunities, and proactively building a strong pipeline of prospective applicants.Additionally, you will:- Support grant-fundraising capacity across the Diocese- Maintain accurate CRM records- Report on monitoring returns and internal KPIsAbout YouTo be considered as a Parish Grants Officer, you will need:- Competency in fundraising- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines- Strong bid-writing, presentation, and communication skills- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience preparing reports and budgets- The ability to travel to parishes and attend meetings and events- A degree-level qualification or equivalent experienceThe closing date for this role is 5th December 2025.Other organisations may call this role Grants Officer, Community Funding Officer, Fundraising and Grants Officer, Grants and Development Officer, Community Grants Co-ordinator, Funding Support Officer, Grants Programme Officer, Community Development Officer, or Trusts and Grants Officer.Webrecruit and the Diocese of Westminster are equal opportunities employers, value diversity and are strongly committed to providing equal employment opportunities for all employees and all applicants for employment.
