OverviewAs Volunteer Co-Ordinator, you’ll help organise and support our volunteer network so families in need are connected with the right help. You’ll lead and nurture volunteers to ensure they are engaged, supported, and ready to step in when families need assistance.ResponsibilitiesBringing in new volunteers – chatting to people who want to get involved and interviewing potential volunteers.Matching volunteers to roles – ensuring volunteers are connected with the right opportunities (e.g., buddying, after-school support, hosting meals, supporting events, or assisting at the Food Hub).Being the go-to person – keeping in touch with volunteers, checking in, answering questions, and making sure they feel supported.Keeping things organised – helping with rotas, ensuring adequate cover for activities and events, and tracking who is doing what.Looking after our volunteers – encouraging them and helping them feel part of the OKF team.About Our Kids FirstVolunteers are at the heart of Our Kids First – they are the ones who bring meals, deliver care packages, offer a listening ear, and provide support to families. Our approach is child-centred: we support both parents to help guide and support them, to minimise the impact of divorce on the children.
