Job Title: Power System Design Lead Location: South East England, Isle of Wight, Cowes Job Type: Contract, expected to work Full-Time hours (2 days per week on site) Primary Industry: Engineering Secondary Industry: Military and Defence Salary: £60Do not wait to apply after reading this description a high application volume is expected for this opportunity.- £81.05 Per hour Benefits: None Job Duties: Lead the design and development of power systems for engineering projects Provide technical expertise and guidance on power system design requirements Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery Conduct risk assessments and propose mitigation strategies for power system designs Stay updated on industry trends and best practises in power system design Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field Proven experience in power system design and development Demonstrated leadership skills in leading design teams Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in power system design and development Knowledge and Skills: Strong understanding of power system principles and components Proficiency in CAD software for power system design Excellent communication and teamwork skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced engineering environment Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field Professional certification in power system design Working Conditions: This role is based in South East England, Isle of Wight, Cowes.The work environment may involve exposure to engineering labs and project sites.The position may require occasional travel for project meetings and collaborations.d02fcfcb-6df4-40ee-95cf-3eb059ce3173
