Join to apply for the Clinical Haematology Nurse Specialist role at NHS University Hospitals of Liverpool Group An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and dynamic Nurse to join our Clinical Haematology team as part of our Anticoagulation / Thrombosis Team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive clinical expertise and be a registered non‑medical prescriber. The successful candidate will be required to work across the entire service, in the hospital and community settings. They will assess patients, plan, deliver and monitor the care of patients on anticoagulant treatment for a range of indications. They will provide advice and guidance to patients, junior colleagues and healthcare professionals. Assess patients and plan, implement and evaluate care using specialist clinical knowledge and skills. Act as the clinical expert and professional resource to the multidisciplinary team, patients and carers within their Speciality Service. Review patients and provide care in the hospital and community settings. Provide education and support to patients, carers and colleagues. Participate in audit, research and service development within the Haematology service. Qualifications: Registered non‑medical prescriber, extensive clinical expertise in haematology and anticoagulation.
