Are you ready to take the next step in your civil engineering career? As a Civil Engineer, you'll play a key role in delivering innovative and sustainable infrastructure projects across highways, drainage and earthworks. You'll be responsible for designing and coordinating civil engineering works, liaising closely with clients, contractors and local authorities to ensure the successful delivery of each project. Every day will bring new challenges - from developing 3D surface models to producing detailed drainage designs that help communities thrive.
In this Civil Engineer position, you will:
·Deliver design work for infrastructure projects, including 3D surface modelling and hydraulic drainage design.
·Coordinate with clients, contractors and local authorities to ensure smooth project delivery.
·Work on S278 and S38 highway schemes, including design and approval processes.
·Undertake design and approval of S104, S106 and S185 drainage schemes, applying knowledge of sustainable drainage practices.
·Contribute to the preparation of Flood Risk Assessments.
·Use Civils 3D, AutoCAD and drainage modelling software such as FLOW or MicroDrainage.
You'll need:
·Around 2-5 years' experience in civil engineering design for highways, drainage or infrastructure projects.
·Proficiency with Civils 3D, AutoCAD and drainage design software.
·A solid understanding of relevant legislation and approval processes.
·Strong communication and coordination skills, with confidence in representing the company at meetings.
