Job Summary The Anaesthetic department provides services to three sites – Worcestershire Royal Hospital (WRH), Alexandra Hospital, and Kidderminster Treatment Centre (KTC). Recent surgical reconfiguration will concentrate most elective surgery on Alexandra Hospital, while the majority of emergency, trauma, and obstetric work will be at WRH. KTC functions as a day‑case and short‑stay surgical unit. Applicants must contribute to the general and obstetric on‑call rota. All candidates must be eligible for full GMC registration and either already be on the Specialist Register or within six months of receiving their CCT in Anaesthesia at the time of interview. FRCA (or equivalent) is an essential qualification. Main Duties of the Post The post will encompass a variety of anaesthetic subspecialties with on‑call commitments at both WRH and Alexandra Hospital, Redditch.
