Quality & Safety Trainer - Fire Awareness Safety Experience HCRG Care Group is seeking a Quality & Safety Trainer with fire awareness safety experience. The role will involve delivering fire safety and quality & safety learning interventions across the organisation and to external customers. A full‑time role or two part‑time roles are possible. Main Responsibilities Deliver fire safety related training and support the training compliance within HCRG Care Group. Support the internal quality assurance of all clinical and Quality and Safety learning interventions, ensuring alignment with the TLE Quality Assurance process. Maintain the clinical and Quality and Safety training course catalogue, ensuring all course information is up to date. Involvement in relevant clinical and Quality and Safety training projects and programmes. Support the education, development and support of SMEs delivering learning interventions in the organisation. Identify and implement continuous improvements in learning provision. Manage own workload, possessing excellent planning, prioritisation, organisational and time‑management skills and the ability to plan any travel effectively. Support training needs analysis as required to identify demand for learning interventions prior to development. Person Specification A relevant fire safety qualification such as IOSH, the Fire Protection Association Advanced Fire Safety Management, Membership of Institute of Fire Engineers, Loughborough Post Graduate Certificate in Fire Safety Management, CFPA Diploma or extensive fire service experience (Local Authority or MoD) and/or relevant fire service experience. Patient Moving & Handling (desirable/training available). Basic Life Support (desirable/training available). Educated to degree level or equivalent experience. Recognised level 4 teaching, training, or assessing qualification. Significant clinical practice experience in a relevant field (AHP, Nursing, Social Work). Ability to deliver training covering a wide range of health and care appropriate subject specialisms. Experience of designing, developing and delivering high quality blended learning solutions suitable for a health and care audience. Experience and competence in using digital tools in the development and delivery of training solutions. Experience of delivering face‑to‑face and virtual training. Knowledge and experience of curriculum development and course design. Clean driving licence. About the Company We change lives by transforming health and care.
