RoleTrainee Traffic Management CAD DesignerLocationState of the art office in Birmingham with onsite amenities including a Gym, Nursery, Café and Coffee ShopSalary & BenefitsSalary: Highly competitive, dependant on experiencePermanent position offering Job Security25 days holiday + Bank holidays + Additional day for your BirthdayCompany Pension*Access to our Internal Academy and Career DevelopmentEmployee Assistance ProgrammeCareer DevelopmentFill Your Boots RewardsHelp at Hand Benefits*Life Assurance*About UsWe provide Temporary Traffic Management (TTM) designs for urban & rural roads, in addition to dual carriageway & motorways anywhere in the UK using the latest industry software.As well as specialising in TTM design, we also provide Vehicle Swept Path Analysis, Consultancy, RRRAP Assessments, BIM/ 3D design and traffic modelling.About The Role Of Trainee CAD DesignerAs a Trainee Temporary Traffic Management Designer, you will use an array of the latest software available in the industry, to the highest level from 2D street works to 3D BIM designs on high-speed dual carriageways.DutiesDeveloping an understanding of the sector through observation and working closely with your mentorProducing and designing scaled and schematic temporary traffic management drawingsAssisting with design modifications to facilitate operationsMaking sure all temporary traffic management drawings are in accordance with guidelinesEnsuring all paperwork is up to dateMaintaining CAD models, drawings and associated filesWorking with Lead Designers to improve skills in BricsCAD and learning how to keep a consistent high standard of final presentation of temporary traffic management drawingsReceiving continual Health & Safety and Lantra approved training to help develop and keep up to date your knowledge and experience in temporary traffic managementThis is a great opportunity to join a successful team, you will be working with talented designers and engineers. Hours of work are 40 per week, between the hours of 7.30am – 16.30pm, Monday to Friday.About YouYou are organised, hardworking and want to learn and forge a career for yourself.
