Working within a small, experienced team, you will be responsible for inspecting pump rental equipment, and carrying out any repairs to it as needed, including any fault finding and diagnostic work where required.Main ResponsibilitiesPerform preventative maintenance on equipment.Conduct regular servicing on pump rental fleet equipment.Check all equipment for damage and ensure details are documented.Identify recurring problems relating to individual, or groups of equipment.Proactively seek continuous modifications and improvements in regards to equipment and processes.Carry out all work in accordance with all Health, Safety and Environmental Regulations.To be able to understand, interpret and work to the relevant instructions and technical information provided by your line manager.Ensure all necessary tasks on your tablet are completed accurately and submitted on time.Flexibility to support the team by working overtime as and when required by the business, this can include evenings and weekends.Qualification and ExperienceEducated to NVQ level 2 standard or equivalent in a mechanical discipline, ideally automotive engineering.Prior experience of working with diesel engines and/or industrial pumps is an advantage.Strong diagnostic skills with the ability to find and fix faults effectively and efficiently.Proficient in using diagnostic equipment and industry standard hand and power tools.Excellent mechanical aptitude.Good attention to detail with a passion for delivering high quality workmanship.Good communication skills both written and verbal.BenefitsCompetitive salaryEnhanced overtime pay (for additional hours and call outs)Medicash Scheme – medical expenses scheme (access to 24hour online GP services, discounted gym memberships)Pension scheme with contribution based on total earnings not just salary25 days holiday + 8 Bank HolidaysIncreasing annual leave entitlement with long service3x your annual salary life insurance (DIS)Support for development and trainingEmployee assistance programme (EAP) & access to Mental Health first aidersEmployee discount scheme (discounts/vouchers for supermarkets, high street shops, holidays and more)Employee referral schemeThis role is not open to Agencies - Please no calls or emails - Thank you.EDI StatementWorkdry International Ltd is committed to encouraging equality, diversity, and inclusion among our workforce, and eliminating unlawful discrimination.
