Job DescriptionWe currently have a vacancy for an experienced HGV Technician, the role is both mobile and workshop based and does involve working both days and nights on a rota pattern.The Role:You will perform the maintenance and repairs of trailers and vans. Previous experience as a HGV Technician / Trailer fitter or Van technician is essential. In return a rewarding career in the transportation industry with a competitive hourly rate of pay, overtime and other benefits is offered.Responsibilities include:Carry out Service, Maintenance and Repair of a mixed fleet of predominately trailers.Carry out inspectionsComplete MOT prep/ presentationCompletion of all required paperwork, including job cards and service sheets using online R2C systemsFault diagnosis and rectificationTo work safely and comply with H&S legislation and company procedures at all timesKnowledge, Skills & Experience:valid C+E driving licence requiredgood communication skillsfunctional IT knowledge beneficialMinimum 2 years relevant experienceAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced environmentAwareness of Health and Safety as it relates to our industryBenefits:Flexible HolidaysUse of the Company vehicle to travel to and from workJBRP1_UKTJ
