Aftersales Technical Operations Engineer 2 days ago Be among the first 25 applicants The Aftersales Technical Operations Engineer will directly support our aftersales technical activities, focusing on defect tracking, frontline support, documentation, and process optimization. This role is designed to strengthen operational efficiency, improve issue resolution, and reinforce coordination between technical and service functions across regions. The candidate will report directly to Technical Support Manager and act as a key executor of our field support and internal improvement initiatives. Working location: Hounslow, London Key Responsibilities Provide hands‑on support during vehicle fault investigations, both remotely and onsite Manage and track technical defects, escalating as needed in collaboration with quality and engineering teams Create and maintain operational dashboards and technical reports (VOR, defect trends, issue summaries) Develop and update technical SOPs and service workflows Draft and edit technical documentation, including service bulletins, repair procedures, and troubleshooting guides Assist in deploying and maintaining TPM tools (e.g., WeCom Smart Forms) for batch issue and documentation management Coordinate warranty and service scheme definitions, ensuring smooth implementation and communication Support cross‑functional collaboration with engineering, sales, and customer teams to ensure aligned service delivery Your Profile Bachelor's degree or equivalent in an engineering‑related discipline Working proficiency in English (company language); Mandarin preferred but not mandatory Solid hands‑on understanding of vehicle systems, including both mechanical components (chassis, braking, suspension) and EV technologies (battery, charging systems, HV safety) Skilled in technical writing and documentation management Proficient in data tools such as Excel, Power BI, and MySQL; basic coding ability in Python or SQL preferred Self‑motivated, curious, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision Willingness to travel for onsite customer or field team support Has right‑to‑work in the UK We Offer Performance and experience‑based competitive remuneration 25 holidays + public holidays Scottish Widow workplace pension Commute allowance Salary sacrifice car scheme Department & company wide teambuilding events An exciting opportunity to be part of the European transition to Zero Emissions transportation and de‑carbonization of the economy Our Purpose is to build a zero‑emission future that reconnects humanity with nature and a world of clean air.
