We help customers manage risk, prevent fraud, and gain insights from data. Job Description As a Cyber Defence Analyst you will join the Cyber Fusion Center, performing in-depth analysis, assessment, and response to security threats. You will be responsible for receiving, prioritizing, investigating, containing, eradicating, and recovering from security events impacting Experian. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily security operations and respond to alerts for cyber threats and incidents. Analyze events using SIEM, EDR, and other tooling; assess risk and severity; elevate higher‑risk events. Collaborate with incident response teams and external stakeholders for resolution. Document incidents, maintain case notes, and support post‑incident lessons learned. Improve SOPs, SOP and training materials and suggest enhancements to use cases. Required Qualifications Experience in a Security Operations Center or Cyber Security Incident Response team. Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field; professional certification (e.g., GCIH, CEH) is a plus. Knowledge of Incident Response Lifecycle, MITRE ATT&CK, Cyber Kill Chain, and related frameworks. Hands‑on experience with SIEM (Splunk, Qradar), EDR (CrowdStrike, Microsoft Defender), and SOAR platforms. Exposure to Windows, Linux, Mac OS, Cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP) and networking technologies. Preferred Experience Packet analysis, forensic, and malware reverse engineering skills. Network forensics, event monitoring, vulnerability assessment and penetration testing concepts. Automation scripting and SOAR orchestration. Benefits Hybrid or office hybrid working environment.
