Manager (Long Term Business – Group-wide Supervision)Broaden and deepen your knowledge and capabilities by making a genuine impact in shaping how we supervise multinational insurance groups.Reporting to the Senior Manager (Group-wide Supervision), the incumbent will assume the following:ResponsibilitiesAssist in the prudential supervision of major insurance groups, with a focus on conducting reviews and group-wide risk assessments as part of the GWS supervisory frameworkParticipate in the preparations for supervisory colleges and crisis management group meetingsLiaise and co-ordinate with local and overseas insurance regulators and other financial regulators in performing group-wide supervision of major insurance groupsKeep abreast of developments in the insurance industry, financial and capital markets that may impact on major insurance groups operating in AsiaOther duties as assigned by senior management to facilitate the administration of the statutory functions of IARequirementsA Bachelor’s degree or professional qualification in finance, accounting, risk or related disciplinesMinimum 5 years’ relevant experience in insurance, finance, accounting, risk, compliance, or regulatory fieldsStrong analytical, interpersonal and communication skillsCan-do attitude, self-starter and open to challenging tasksStrong command of written and spoken EnglishAppointment TermsA competitive remuneration package commensurate with the successful candidate’s experience and qualifications will be offered.ApplicationReview of the applications will start as soon as possible and continue until the post is filled.
