Our client is looking for a SCM Long Term Agreements Specialist for a permanent position, located in Aberdeen.

**Role**

The Long Term Agreements Specialist - SCM is responsible for the strategic procurement activities relating to the creation and management of Long Term Frame Agreements for the UK & GIRM Region.

**Responsibilities**
- Ensure compliance with all Supply Chain policies, processes, systems and procedures.
- Review and prepare LTA strategies for each nominated category such as products and services for supporting offshore/onshore operations and also indirect services such as facilities, global IT and other corporate services.
- Preparation and issue of ITT’s and evaluation of received bids.
- Ensure that the LTA provides best value and contractual position with regards to risk evaluation, overall cost and delivery.
- Post award manage nominated LTA’s, particularly timely renewals, performance reviews, annual bonus collection, supplier meetings, contract negotiation, pricing audits and reporting.
- Prepare LTA reviews with Team Lead and SCM Manager such that LTA renewals are prioritized and planned for the year.
- Actively drive new supplier development in support of LTA’s to provide best overall value for the business.
- Support Team Lead and proactively contribute to company and SCM initiatives, objectives and Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) and to the achievement of these.
- Ensure SCM capitilises from lessons learned and SCM activities are performed in consideration of best practice, striving to mitigate risk and consistent promotion of Company core values.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure there is cross functional review of the LTA recommendation.
- Effective utilisation of SCM and company systems e.g. SAP, SAP Ariba, SharePoint and Synergi to effectively deliver SCM activities and promote knowledge share.
- Proactively support and contribute to the continuous improvement of the SCM Department.
- Assist with any other duties that may be required for successful business delivery.

**Requirements**:

- Significant role relevant experience in the Upstream Oil & Gas/Renewables Industry and in Supply Chain Management.
- Pre and post award experience in LTA / Contract negotiation in a supply chain or contracts role.
- IT proficient across the MS Suite. SAP/SAP Ariba is desirable.
- CIPS (or other relevant industry qualification) is desirable.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, maintains strong collaborative relationships at all levels across a multicultural global environment.
- Confident networking with an excellent ability to negotiate and influence.
- Numeric, with the ability to work with detail and accuracy.
- Pro-active planning and organising skills, able to identify and effectively prioritise workload and successfully meet multiple, often competing deadlines.
- Flexible to adapt to changing priorities within a fast-paced 24/7 global business.
- Pro-active with a solutions-based approach, willing to challenge the status quo.
- Demonstrates initiative and ownership to deliver workload unsupervised while flexible to support wider team activities.
- Committed to continuous improvement and identification of efficient work methods and processes.
