We are currently looking for a Senior Programme Manager to lead a Waste Treatment Delivery Team and play a proactive role in successfully delivering £1.2bn capital programme and 200+ projects. Everything you need to know Based from our Raynesway (Derby) office, the Senior Programme Manager will lead an integrated team to deliver portfolios and programmes of work within Severn Trent’s Capital Investment Programme. You will lead a team of project managers and Assistant Project Managers, working with key stakeholders to deliver assigned projects to time and budget, continuously challenging and innovating to improve performance and drive continuous improvement. You will provide robust leadership to enable design, procurement and construction of multiple projects as well as nurturing the development of your team and their success. What you’ll bring to the role You will have a proven track record of successfully leading the delivery of large, complex and multi-disciplinary projects, with extensive experience of managing a disparate set of stakeholders at all levels to deliver on programme objectives. You will have experience of leading programme teams of internal and external resource to deliver high risk, high complexity and high value projects, and you will have extensive experience of working closely with a supply chain to deliver. You will have a proven track record in developing high performing teams and a strong background in delivering financial and operational success. You will be a dynamic and collaborative individual with excellent communication and influencing skills. You will have a strong ability to build successful working relationships with internal and external stakeholders from a diverse range of backgrounds, and hold a relentless drive for continuous improvement, with the ability to innovate and anticipate unexpected issues and challenges as they arise.
