This role requires a dedicated leader to oversee the department's operations, manage client relationships, and drive growth within the collectible arms and armour market. Responsibilities Lead and manage a specialised team, ensuring operational efficiency and exceptional performance. Catalogue and prepare arms and armour sales, adhering to deadlines and maintaining budgeted commission levels. Expand the department's client base by actively pursuing new business and fostering relationships with relevant trade and professional bodies. Manage department budgets effectively, ensuring optimal use of resources to benefit the department. Maintain high standards of client service, meeting all contractual obligations to buyers and vendors. Travel as necessary to achieve business and client relationship objectives. Required Skills and Experience Extensive experience in the arms and armour sector, preferably within an auction house. Established relationships with key dealers and collectors in the arms and armour field. Strong leadership skills with the ability to direct and motivate a team. Excellent communication, organizational, and networking abilities. Proficiency in relevant computer and business enterprise software. Capability to meet strict deadlines and manage multiple priorities effectively.
