About the Role Lecturer Travel, Aviation and Esports – Permanent, Part Time (0.8)Immediate Start Responsibilities Take responsibility for the group tutorship of one or more courses within the Travel, Aviation, Directed Pathways, or Esports curriculum area. Co‑develop and implement quality improvements as directed by the Curriculum Manager and/or Head of School. Design engaging coursework assignments that inspire learners based on agreed schemes of work. Follow assessment schedules, student monitoring procedures, and support internal and external verification activities. Support, motivate, and empathise with learners, monitor progress, and use new technologies to enhance teaching and learning. Maintain high personal standards and expectations with good planning, preparation, organisational and administrative skills. Qualifications Hold a degree or relevant professional qualification in an appropriate subject. Hold a teaching qualification (or willing to work towards). Recent and relevant continuous professional development and excellent teaching skills. Substantial relevant teaching experience on BTEC and/or NCFE programmes. Awareness of academic quality standards and links with industry, external agencies and validating bodies. High energy, enthusiasm, and passion for the subject and education.
