You will play a key role in supporting investment management operations, focusing on unquoted trading, fee oversight, valuation processes & performance analysis. The role requires a detail-oriented & proactive individual who can operate effectively in a fast-paced environment, ensuring the accuracy & integrity of investment data while maintaining close collaboration with internal teams, stakeholders & third-party service providers.Team Overview:The Middle Office sits within the wider Investment Operations function, which is made up of five core teams: Cash Management, Client Onboarding, Client Account Operations, Settlements & Middle Office. The successful candidate will combine strong analytical skills with a hands‑on approach, supporting the continuous improvement of operational efficiency through automation, process enhancement & the use of digital tools.What you will be doingUnquoted Trading SupportOversee trade capture, verification, & settlement processes for unquoted securities.Coordinate with Front Office, Legal, & third parties to ensure accurate & timely execution.Fees ManagementMonitor accruals, adjustments, & fee payments to ensure accuracy & transparency.ValuationsAssist with the generation, review & validation of valuations for all products, ensuring adherence to valuation policies.Performance AnalysisProduce & validate performance reporting across portfolios, ensuring consistency with product attributes.Support with Management Information (MI) production & reporting.Process & Systems ImprovementIdentify opportunities for process automation & digital enhancement across middle office workflows.Contribute to system implementations, UAT, & continuous improvement initiatives.Ensure all operational processes adhere to internal controls, regulatory requirements, & best practices.QualificationsEssential Qualifications:Strong Excel skills (including formulas, pivot tables, & data analysis tools).Preferred Qualifications:Professional qualifications such as the IMC, IOC or CF1 or equivalent are highly desirable, or a demonstrated willingness to pursue these within an agreed timeframe.What we offer💰 A competitive salary, bonus, pension and share incentive plan✈️ Untracked holiday🏡Hybrid working – most of our people spend 3 days a week in the office⚓ Anchor (our wellness hub) which includes Headspace, one to one coaching through Wellness Cloud, Digital GP & more👪 Up to 6 months paid parental leave regardless of gender❤️ Life insurance, critical illness cover and income protection🏥 Private medical insurance for you and your family🚗 Electric vehicle leasing🌍 The option to work overseas up to a month per yearOur ValuesAt our core, we believe that how a company behaves is just as important as what it does.
