You will line manage a small group of the teaching team (specifically English & maths specialists) and support with the quality of delivery across the centre, and monitoring and tracking of outcomes. The role also includes around 12 hours of contact time and delivery of teaching and support sessions as part of the role.You will report to our area Head of Curriculum and Engagement and will work closely with them and other managers to bring about improvements and overcome day to day challenges.Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:Line management of a team of teachersDelivery around aspects of English, Maths, pastoral and tutorial.Deputise for Programme Leader in relation to day-day management of the centre.Ensure that the Maths & English curriculum is delivered effectively and efficiently, working with central teams and other managers to raise standards.Safeguarding including acting as a designated safeguarding lead in your centre.Working with employers and others in the community to provide enhanced learning experiences for students.Essential requirements for this roleGCSE 4/C English and maths or equivalentLevel 3 AET or equivalent / relevant teaching and learning related qualificationKnowledge and experience of education quality and regulatory frameworks and practicesPlease click on the ‘Apply now’ button to apply online. #J-18808-Ljbffr
