Project Health & Safety Manager Basingstoke Up to £65,000 + Car/Car Allowance Are you an experienced Health & Safety professional within the Rail sector? This role is working on a project worth c£2Billion across the Hampshire region. The Company The client is one of the leading engineering and construction companies in the UK and provide specialist building, civil engineering, and rail expertise to a range of markets to provide a truly integrated service to clients. They possess proven experience and deliver successful projects in a wide range of industries, including commercial, industrial, education, rail infrastructure and depots, airports, waste, and energy. They will support both financially and through mentorship towards chartership and other relevant qualifications. Key duties will include: Be responsible for Health and Safety for all on site and promote a “Safety first” culture Review and communicate previous weeks H&S challenges Liaise with the Client, Supply Chain, Sub-Contractors, the public, and other stakeholders About You You will be an experience Health & Safety Manager who either currently holds your CMIOSH or working towards chartership. You will have experience working within major projects, with the ability to communicate effectively with the client. The project will be focused on Earthworks, Structures, Stations, Drainage and Civils. Benefits Salary up to £65,000 per annum, 45 hours a week, Car or Car Allowance, Matched Pension to 5% Next Steps The client is looking to have the successful candidate start in ASAP, so interviews are due to take place once applications are received.
