Job DescriptionHealth & Safety ManagerSalary:£60,000 - £65,000 per annum plus car / allowance and packageLocation: Remote, site based around Basingstoke / Wessex RegionCompany / Role InformationA leading player in the civil engineering and infrastructure sector is currently recruiting for an experienced Health & Safety Manager to work on a large railway infrastructure projects across the Wessex region.Reporting into the Senior H&S Manager the Health & Safety Manager will be responsible for manageing the development of a positive health & safety culture focused upon accident prevention and improving the health & safety of all personnel on-site.Health & Safety Manager Person Specification Strong back ground in Health & SafetyPrevious experience of working in the rail industry desirable but open to candidates from a civils backgroundExperience leading accidents / investigationsAuditing experienceHold a diploma/degree in Occupational Health & Safety or equivalent.CMIOSH (essential)Have working knowledge of both rail and civil engineering interfaces and practices.Possession of a PTS and CSCS Card.Ability to prioritise and manage a diverse workload.Full UK Drivers Licence DesirableLead Auditor qualification Health & Safety Manager Role Information.
