What you’ll be doing:
Support teachers by planning and delivering learning activities for individuals, groups, or whole classes.
Assess student needs, monitor progress, and provide feedback to promote achievement and independence.
Establish positive relationships with students, encouraging inclusion and cooperation.
Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
Organise learning environments and resources, and maintain accurate records of student progress.
Deliver curriculum activities and use ICT effectively to enhance learning.
Collaborate with staff, parents, and external agencies to support student development.
Lead and manage other teaching assistants, including training, and appraisals.
Prepare and maintain specialist resources and manage allocated budgets.
What we’re looking for:
GCSE or equivalent qualifications, to include English and Maths.
Evidence of CPD or an interest in learning.
Excellent inter-personal skills.
Good personal organisation.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Awareness of working with children and young people with SEND and ASC (desirable)

Who are we?
Opened in 2014, Arc School Ansley is an independent specialist day school in Ansley, a lovely small village, for children and young people aged between 11 and 17.
Our experienced team is dedicated to providing outstanding education to children and young people a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Condition, who may have many associated needs such as; social, emotional and mental health needs, communication needs and cognition and learning needs.
Arc School Ansley is part of Kedleston Group. We specialise in providing specialist education and care for children aged 7-19 with a range of special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). These include autistic spectrum condition (ASC), attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and social emotional and mental health needs (SEMH).
