Facilities Account Manager

OverviewPareto are looking to employ a Facilities Account Manager to manage a number of our accounts. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate exceptional experience in people management, process implementation and ownership of day‑to‑day operations.This will include experience working as a supplier delivering to clients. A thorough understanding of M&E service delivery or a technical background is essential. We are looking for an exceptional communicator that will be able to manage multiple stakeholders, whilst maintaining the highest levels of service at all times.We need someone that is ambitious, self‑driven, professional and the hardest worker in the room. This role will report into our Senior Account Management team and we are looking for someone to take on existing accounts.Key ResponsibilitiesOwnership of day‑to‑day operations.Weekly operational briefings with client representatives to explain operational challenges and opportunities across the portfolio.Completion of monthly management reports covering all services across all sites, delivered to the client within 10 days of the following month, including full PPM and H&S data. Extend to quarterly strategic reviews for senior stakeholders to drive overall contract strategy.Implement standard operating procedures for all base functions of the service delivery, including designing, writing and delivering SOPs and ensuring delivery against standard operating procedures.Complete all HR related tasks including appraisals, salary reviews and disciplinary procedures for direct reports.Manage sub‑contractors effectively, ensuring they operate in line with specifications and deliver value for money.Ownership of small and medium sized projects for clients.Additional Important AreasCollate information and write account overviews for monthly reports.Become proficient with key systems to support business queries.Client reporting.Sub‑contractor management.Ownership of renewal process in your patch.Site visits.H&S/ComplianceCross auditing.Ensure all accounts are delivered to the highest standards of H&S and compliance.Deliver internal auditing processes on patch.Human ResourcesEnsure holiday usage is appropriate.Take an active role for all onboarding within your patch.Performance management, development and training.FinanceMonitor and approve overtime.Monthly billing – confirm contract changes & monitor spend against budget.Essential CriteriaSuitable, recent and relevant FM experience (typically 5+ years).Hard services/technical services delivery experience.Minimum of IOSH Managing Safely qualification or equivalent.Strong knowledge of FM service delivery across all service lines.Excellent planning and organisational skills.Excellent verbal, written communication and presentation skills.Strong IT skills.Ability to manage own workload and work on own initiative.Ability to work in and adapt to a rapidly changing environment.Comfortable challenging poor standards or behaviour and implementing change.Ability to work cooperatively with others to complete tasks and implement process improvements.Multi‑contract FM management experience preferred.DesiredIWFM qualification (or similar) level 5 or above.Seniority LevelMid‑Senior levelEmployment TypeFull‑timeJob FunctionSales and Business DevelopmentIndustriesFacilities ServicesBenefitsPrivate Health4x life assurance25 days + bank holidaysPayLocation: North RemoteContract Type: PermanentHours: 40 hours per weekReporting to: Senior Account Manager #J-18808-Ljbffr
