Responsibilities What you’ll be doing: Act as the primary on-site representative for the client, ensuring contractor compliance with project specifications and expectations. Monitor and record daily site operations, including construction, installation, and maintenance activities. Ensure compliance with UK health, safety, and environmental regulations. Monitor contractor performance, addressing any issues or delays. Coordinate with relevant stakeholders, external agencies, project managers and other third parties to ensure the smooth running of the project. Conduct site inspections and audits to record and monitor progress and quality of work. Identify and resolve technical or operational issues in advance to prevent occurrences. Prepare weekly progress reports to the Head of Delivery. Qualifications What experience you'll bring: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Site Supervisor in solar farm construction, renewable energy, or related fields. Strong leadership and problem-solving skills. Experience working in a client-side supervisory role. Knowledge of solar PV system installation and maintenance. Understanding of electrical and mechanical systems. Familiarity with UK health and safety regulations, including CDM (Construction Design and Management) regulations. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software. Valid UK driving licence and ability to travel to different sites. Preferred Qualifications: Certification in solar energy or project management. Experience with SCADA monitoring systems. Previous experience in a supervisory role on the client side. SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) or SSSTS (Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme) certification.
