Astute's Power Team is partnering with a leading Engineering and Industrial Solutions Sub-Contractor who operate in the Power Generation, Utilities, Petrochemical and Heavy Industry sector.As part of their continued growth and investment, we are looking for an Electrical Supervisor to oversee the day to day activities across site operations.If you are an experienced Electrical Supervisor with suitable qualifications and relevant experience, then submit your CV to apply today.Responsibilities and dutiesReporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for:Ensure the technicians are on time, clear on requirements and following HSE.To conduct technical reports.Assist with work scope preparations this could be PPE, tooling, QA documents, equipment sign off documents such as pump requirements.Must check regularly with customers to ensure the work is being conducted satisfactorily to the customers' requirements.Attends safety meetings each month with team.Supervisors' single projects or outages.Ensures works scheduled are met on time and the team understand the requirements of each scopeConducts toolbox talks on larger projects.Conducts site audits with team positives and negatives.Liaise with engineers, planners, and other departments to coordinate work and resolve problems.Professional qualificationsSSSTSEngineeringSupervising trainingPersonal skillsThe Workshop Supervisor role would suit someone who has:Strong communication and teamworkProblem-solving and decision-makingAttention to detail and organisational abilityLeadership potential and adaptabilitySalary and benefitsSalary £48,000.00 per yearLaptopUniformPPEMobile phoneVehicleINDPOWAstute People are acting as an employment agency in relation to this vacancy.
