Job Description Business Governance and Risk Associate £33,000 to £38,000 plus great benefits (Work Level 6A) Location: Manchester/Scunthorpe (hybrid working - typically two to three days per week spent across our Manchester and Scunthorpe offices, with at least one day each week based in Scunthorpe) Co-op Wholesale is growing, and we're looking for people who want to help shape what comes next. As a Business Governance and Risk Associate in our Business Management, Governance and Risk team, you'll assist your colleagues to make sure we run things smoothly and responsibly. You'll support how we manage risk, stay compliant, and make smart decisions. You'll also play a part in how we show up to senior audiences; helping to create reports and presentations that our leadership team can use to tell the right story. What you'll do Support key governance, risk, and compliance activities across Co-op Wholesale Help put the right processes in place to manage risk and support decision‑making Assist in creating clear and engaging reports and presentations for senior leaders Provide helpful advice to colleagues on governance and risk‑related topics Help run governance meetings and spot potential risks What you'll bring Some knowledge of governance, compliance, or business management Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to spot patterns in data Strong attention to detail and the confidence to ask questions and challenge when needed Good communication, reporting, and presentation skills Why Co‑op?
